The College of Engineering Co-op/Internship Program provides the opportunity for qualified students to be involved in practical work experience in business, industry, and government. It provides intellectual and professional development that will supplement the baccalaureate degree. All co-op/internships give students the opportunity to gain work experience related to their engineering or construction management degrees.

INTERNSHIP BASICS
- Internships are available for students of all levels -- freshman through graduate students.
- Boise State students are eligible and qualified for internships all across the United States.
- Many internships are available for summer, and some programs also offer internship experiences during the academic year.
- In internships with local companies, students often work part-time while attending college.
- Sometimes students may work at an internship full-time for a semester or more, especially if the internship is not local, and return to college afterward.
- Students may be able to earn college credit for some internships.
