Hieu Bui joined the Knowlton Research Group in the Fall of 2006. As an undergraduate student majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), he is involved in the MOSFET oxide reliability characterization research project. His senior design project focused on characterizing collagen-based nanowires for building bio-electro sensors. Toward his undergraduate degree, he comfortably operated the Keithley 4200-SCS Semiconductor Characterization System, Agilent 4156C Precision Semiconductor Parameter Analyzer, and Cryogenic Electronics System. He was recognized as Micron Scholar, ECE Outstanding Graduating Senior Award, and is a member of Eta Kappa Nu (ECE honor).
He is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research interest is to investigate DNA-based molecular programming and synthesis.
