Band Diagram Program - Mac Install

The Multi-Dielectric Energy Band Diagram Program can be made to run on Mac OS X using the X11 software coupled with Mono. (You must be running 10.5.5 or greater). You will need to download the following files:

Installation

MacOS Install Instructions:

1. Make sure you have X11 server software installed. It is an optional part of OS X.
2. Download and install Mono version 1.9 or later for MacOS here. For Mono to work on MacOS, your operating system must be up-to-date with version 10.5.5 or later.
3. Download and unzip the Band Diagram Program using the link above.
4. Start the X11 server. Wait for a console window (titled xterm) to appear. Click on that window and type the following command:
