From traffic studies to research into groundwater contamination transport and the development of subsurface sensors, researchers are pursuing interdisciplinary projects that have direct applications for protecting and enhancing Idaho’s quality of life. Our students work along side faculty on research projects funded by a number of federal and state agencies, as well as private industry.
The Department of Civil Engineering resides in the new Environmental Research Building (ERB), located on the southeast corner of University Drive and Euclid Street and across the street from the blue turf of Bronco Stadium.
The facility provides a synergistic environment for the Engineering, Public Policy and Geosciences faculty in which to collaborate and to instruct students by utilizing a unique, cross-disciplinary style.
Our offices are located on the first floor in room numbers 1121-1133.
