Technical Electives

Technical Electives are non-required courses that are related to the Civil Engineering profession, but may be offered by other departments. Civil Engineering Technical and Design Electives may be used as Technical Electives. Courses outside the CE department that are not listed below, except ENGR 360, MATH 360, and MATH 361  may be used for Technical Electives with the approval of the Civil Engineering faculty.  ENGR 360, MATH 360, and MATH 361 may not be used as Technical Electives.

Any 300- or 400-level Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Engineering Science (ENGR), or Material Science and Engineering (MSE) course. Exceptions: ENGR 360, MATH 360 and MATH 361 may not be used as a technical elective.
