Abstract:
One question students have as they are thinking about careers after
college is how the knowledge they have gained through the CS curriculum
translates to actual job responsibilities. What I will do is demonstrate
WhiteCloud Analytics’ cloud-based application, talk about the technology
stack we use, and associate items shown visually on the screen with
specific parts of the underlying stack. By the end the students should
have an understanding of how some of the technologies they have used or
heard of work together in commercial software.
