De-CRUDing Apps with Event Sourcing

De-CRUDing Apps with Event Sourcing

David Romeo

10th Nov,  12:00pm-1:00pm
CCP 221

Abstract: The Create, Read, Update and Delete (CRUD) approach to app development has real limitations when designing a scalable, maintainable system. Event Sourcing, when implemented in the correct business context, is an alternative approach to alleviate these problems. This talk will explore what Event Sourcing is, how it can be implemented as an alternative to CRUD, and some common pitfalls.
