The Computer Science Club has three main goals:

Every year, the club sponsors LINUX Install Fests. At these events, people brought their computers to the Engineering and Technology Atrium, and computer science faculty and knowledgeable students helped them install LINUX and learn to use basic commands.

Other activities for the club include preparing and presenting an artificial intelligence demonstration for the JASON Project, a week-long educational experience for grade school children, and participation in the High School Programming Competition, part of Boise State's"Science Day."

The CS Club is an ASBSU recognized organization that was founded in the Fall 2004 semester. For information on joining the Computer Science Club please email our president for 2005-2006, Jim Lowe, at president@csclub.boisestate.edu.
