Computer Science
2nd Bachelor's Degree

If you already have an undergraduate degree in another field, then you can get a second degree in Computer Science by completing only the required classes from the Computer Science program. In order to start on a second degree program you need to take the following steps.

  • Submit the Boise State University Undergraduate Admission Application, along with a $30 application fee, to the Admissions Office. The application form may be obtained by contacting the Admissions Office at (208) 426-1156/4184 or 1-800-824-7017 or by email at BSUinfo@boisestate.edu An on-line admission form is available through the Admissions Office web page .
  • Arrange for official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended to be sent directly to the Admissions Office.

Then you can start taking the required computer science and mathematics classes and any prerequisites and electives that you may need. Depending upon the classes that you took for your previous degree, you may already have taken some of the required classes.
