Summer Workshops

The Computer Science department at Boise State University is involved in a number of great workshops for youth and adults this summer. Check out the information below to learn more and register quickly as registration fills up quickly. Check back near the end of April for a comprehensive list of offerings!

  • GenCyber High School Teacher Workshop
    Dates: Monday through Friday, June 19-23, 2017
    Time: 9:00 a.m.-4:0 p.m.
    Location: Engineering Building, Boise State University
    Cost: Free ($900 Stipend Provided)
    Registration Deadline: May 1, 2017
    Enrollment is limited to 20.
    Description: This workshop introduces fundamental concepts and various topic areas in cybersecurity, as well as related pedagogical methods. By the end of the program, participants develop lesson plans that integrate cybersecurity concepts into their curricula or after-school programming
