Dr. Chiasson received the BS in Mathematics from the University of Arizona, the MS in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University and his PhD in Control Science from the University of Minnesota.

He has worked for Boeing Aerospace in the area of guidance and navigation, for Honeywell Systems and Research Center in the area of navigation, and for ABB in the area of traction drives. He is currently doing research with Oak Ridge National Laboratory on control of power electronic interfaces for electric vehicles.
