Minor in Electrical Engineering

button Catalog statement

The Electrical and Computer Engineering program offers the opportunity for students to get a minor in Electrical Engineering. The minor requires 6 courses plus accompanying labs. It is designed to cover the fundamentals for all students, then allow the students to get an exposure to the EE core and electives of their choice. Students can either focus in semiconductors and circuits, Signals and Systems or Computer Engineering, or take an assortment of courses from all these fields.

This minor can be earned with little additonal coursework for students majoring in Material Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Computer Science by carefully selecting their electives. The contact faculty member for the program is professor Nader Rafla, nrafla@boisestate.edu; telephone 208 426-3711.
