The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Boise State University is excited to announce its second annual Embedded Systems Summer Camp, July 15-19, 2013!
The one-week summer camp is aimed toward high school juniors and seniors who like to work with electronics, and who want to know what life is like for engineers.
The ECE Department has created a hands-on program where students will learn about small system design and about using microcontrollers. Activities include working with various sensors, designing a printed circuit board, soldering components on the board, and programming the system using an industry standard programming language, all without any prerequisites of programming experience. Students are able to take their work home after the camp, where they will be able to use it and their knowledge to continue to develop software and hardware to expand the capabilities of their prototype and further explore embedded systems design.
The week-long camp is $200. Register for the Embedded Systems Summer Camp now!
