A large percentage of undergrads at Boise State get jobs working in research labs within the department. Many students start doing this as freshmen… which means you are learning as you go and can build on minimal prior experience! For more information, contact your advisor or seek out a faculty member whose research is of interest to you. All research positions are also advertised through the Career Center via Handshake.
A number of competitive assistantships are available each academic year. To be considered for funding, students must be accepted into an ECE graduate program and submit a complete assistantship application on or before our January 31 review deadline each year.
