Today’s electrical engineer must be able to find solutions to new complex technical problems. S/he must have strong people skills and be able to integrate technical concepts with those of management, public policy, safety, and environmental areas in a team environment.

At the undergraduate level, Boise State’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering department offers a bachelor of science in electrical engineering with several ways to specialize. Students interested in teaching may also blending cutting-edge disciplinary coursework with early inquiry-based teaching experience by adding the STEM education emphasis.

Options for graduate study include a a Master of Engineering, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
