Boise State University has 16 on-site Hewlett-Packard ProLiant xw460c Blade Servers.  They have Intel Xeon E5450 CPUs running at 3.0 GHZ with 3 GB RAM.  They are available for access 24/7 from a personal computer using Linux or Windows.  They have Windows XP SP2 with the most used engineering software installed including:

Access requires the HP Remote Graphics software, available free at the HP RGS website. 

  • Click on the HP RGS Free Edition, enter contact information, and download the software. 

  • Install only the receiver software (sender software requires a license and is not necessary for use). 

  • Once installed, you will need the login host, username and password.
