Welcome! This is the website of the Student Chapter of Engineers Without Borders at Boise State.

Engineers Without Borders - USA (EWB-USA) is a non-profit humanitarian organization. The mission of EWB-USA is to partner with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life. This partnership will assist developing communities with sustainable engineering projects while training internationally responsible engineers and students.

Wednesday Meeting Recap (9/9/09):

Thanks to Emily for setting up the up all night carnival! She did a great job raising money for the club.

Dine College / Shiprock New Mexico project is still up in the air. We are having a lot of trouble contacting this school.

Emily will follow up on Partners for Prosperity

Volunteer:

We have 4 volunteer opporunities at the moment:
1) Watershed Watch (Saturday, October 3, 9 am - noon) - group will do water quality analysis on various water bodies in the Treasure Valley.

2) Parking Garage Median Knockout - group will work with Casey in demolishing a concrete median in a BSU parking garage. We have experience doing this!

3) Parking Garage Improvements - TBA

4) Coach Pete Tie Drive - We need volunteers to make ugly ties for Coach Pete to wear on Friday, October 30th. We also need volunteers to walk around the tailgaiting areas for the UC Davis game on Oct 3rd and ask for donation money for the Coach Pete Tie Drive.

EWB Regional Meeting in March

Is anyone interested in representing Boise State and the annual EWB-USA regional conference in March? There are 3 days of workshops, lectures, information and networking. Location is still to be determined.

International Project Selection

An email was sent out regarding the project we'd like to choose.
