Bio
Casey Kennington, PhD is an assistant professor in the Boise State University Computer Science department.

His primary research interests revolve around natural language processing and dialogue systems. The primary goal is to build computational systems that can understand human language and convey that understanding through useful and natural interfaces. He is the head of the Speech, Language, & Interactive Machines (SLIM) research group at BSU.

After Completing a bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University in CS, Casey went onto the Erasmus Mundus LCT Master's Program where he completed a master's degree in computational linguistics from Saarland University (Germany) and cognitive science from Nancy 2 University (now Lorraine University; France). He completed his PhD at Bielefeld University (Germany).
