The Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering at Boise State's College of Engineering prepares students for the rewards and challenges of a career in the multi-faceted field of mechanical
and biomedical engineering. The curriculum was carefully developed with input from engineering professionals to provide a sound foundation in basic engineering while enabling students to specialize in diverse topics such as machine design, thermal systems, robotics, materials science and product and systems design.
Students graduating from the program are prepared to contribute to the field of engineering by entering the workplace or by furthering their education in graduate school. Boise offers a great environment for employment, and due to the age of the program, new facilities, labs, and computer systems the program is rapidly growing.
Three programs of study are available through the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering: a Bachelor of Science program, a Master of Science Mechanical Engineering program (M.S. ME) and a Master of Engineering Mechanical Engineering program (M.Engr. ME)
Minor in Biomedical Engineering
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
M.S. Mechanical Engineering
M.Engr. Mechanical Engineering
The Mechanical Engineering bachelor's program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012, Telephone: (410) 347-7700. LT |
