Our Purpose

Advance engineering students' understanding of the engineering field by promoting interaction with professional engineers in the community and encouraging participation in additional educational engineering programs and activities.

Affiliation

Section 1 This organization shall operate according to the regulations and policies of Boise State University, and of the Constitution of the Associated Students of Boise State University, and in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
Section 2 This organization shall adhere to the regulations and constitution of the national organization of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers that do not conflict with the regulations and policies of Boise State University or with the Constitution of the Associated Students of Boise State University.
Section 3 This organization shall adhere to the regulations and constitution of the national organization of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) that do not conflict with the regulations and policies of Boise State University or with the Constitution of the Associated Students of Boise State University.

Membership

Section 1 All officers and voting members of this organization shall be full-time undergraduate or graduate students of Boise State University and shall be current in the payment of dues. Members of this organization shall be voluntary participatnts in the organization activities.
Section 2 Part-time students of Boise State University, faculty, staff, and community members may be associate members but may not vote or hold office.
Section 3 At least 51% of the total membership shall be full-fee students.
