Course Description:               

Economic analysis and comparison of engineering alternatives by annual-cost, present-worth, capitalized cost, and rate-of-return methods; income tax considerations. PREREQ: Junior Standing

Objectives/Goals:

This course is designed to teach the fundamental concepts of engineering economy to engineering students.

Course Topics:

The course structure will resemble the structure of the textbook with some exceptions.   When there are deviations from the textbook, they will be described under the Topic page.  The Topic page will be continuously updated as we progress through the Semester.  Please make sure that you read the Topic page regularly.
