Student organizations are a vital part of the out-of-classroom experience. Networking with your peers facilitates lifelong contacts in your field of interest, and most of all, friendships that can last a lifetime.

We encourage you to get involved and build professional and social connections. There are usually several student-focused activities taking place on campus every day. The MSE Student Club is a  Materials Advantage and MRS Student Chapter. The club participates in several volunteer activities like hosting the College of Engineering’s Engineering Day on campus. They also volunteer for community development projects such as Rake up Boise and attend professional materials science and engineering-related conferences.
