The Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering program enhances fundamental knowledge of materials science. Students develop their research and technical communication skills to prepare for further study at the doctoral level or to promote future career opportunities.
To obtain the degree, students complete coursework and a thesis. After finalizing core coursework, students become a Master of Science Candidate until completing the thesis, which usually takes around two years.
