Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers

SHPE regionWelcome to Region 3 Boise State University– Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers chapter. SHPE was founded in Los Angeles, California back in 1974, by a group of engineers that were employed by the city of Los Angeles. Their overall goal was to create a national organization of professional engineers that will serve as a role model to the Hispanic community. As of today, SHPE is composed of 7 regions with professional and student chapters.
