  Boise State University Scholarships

All students who have at least a 3.0 GPA at the end of the Fall semester will be automatically considered for additional academic scholarships. The monies are awarded for the following school year.

For new and transfer students , consideration for scholarships awarded by the College of Engineering is automatic based upon submission (deadline Feb. 15) of admissions materials and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). 

For continuing students , consideration for scholarships is automatic.  For scholarships that have one of the criteria as financial need, the FAFSA from must be completed by March 15. Scholarships available include:

Brown Engineering ScholarshipAny class, any field
Eilene J. Porter Engineering Scholarship Any class, any field, financial need based
A. J. Gaige Scholarship Freshman, graduate of Meridian High School
F&M Clements Family Scholarship Junior or Senior, any field, financial need based
Dahm Engineering Scholarship Sophomore or Junior, any field, financial need based
American Nuclear Society Scholarship Junior or Senior, interested in the field of nuclear engineering
White Engineering Scholarship Electrical Engineering majors only, financial need based
Departmental scholarships Full-time continuing students are automatically eligible with a 3.0 GPA.

At the university level additional scholarship/financial aid money is available to a wide variety of students. For more information, the BSU Scholarship Brochure is available at the Financial Aid Office, Administration Building, Room 117.
