Crystal is an Assistant Professor in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning (OPWL) program in the College of Engineering at Boise State University. She attained her Ph.D. in the Department of Educational Administration & Human Resource at Texas A&M University. She earned her B.A. in English Education from Korea University in South Korea. Crystal has greatly enjoyed teaching in universities and professional organizations in both the U.S. and Korea over 10 years (e.g., large and small classes in K-12, university, and various companies, such as Google Korea and the government).
Her research interests include the field of virtual team building, cross-cultural diversity, executive leadership, and shared leadership development. She has published several articles and book chapters on the topics of multinational virtual teams and team leadership. She published articles in journals, such as Small Group Research, Human Resource Development Review, Human Resource Development Quarterly, European Journal of Training and Development, and Team Performance Management: An International Journal.
Team Mindset Lab:
The primary mission of the TEAM MINDSET LAB is to conduct high-quality research in the field of team development and performance to bridge the gap between research and practice. We aim to support organizations to practice effective team skills in hopes of improving their performance.
